Maria Metaweh
Maria Metaweh is currently a PhD Candidate at Florida International University, Florida, United States, with a background in Biostatistics and Clinical Psychology. Her research bridges spirituality, community programming, trauma, and health. As a Coptic Scholar, Maria hopes to support the biopsychosocial-spiritual development of the youth.

Martin Beshara
Martin Beshara is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University, where his research focuses on computational fluid dynamics and high-performance computing for multi-scale modeling of extreme weather events, particularly tropical cyclones. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Looking ahead, he aims to pursue postdoctoral research, with the goal of a long-term research career as a research scientist in academia or at a national laboratory. His work and professional goals are guided by values of service and stewardship rooted in his Coptic faith, and he is an active member of the Congregation of St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Cooksville, Maryland!
Mary Falstin
Mary Falstin is currently a medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. A first-generation, low-income immigrant, her path toward medicine was shaped by early experiences witnessing emergency medical care during her childhood in Egypt, instilling in her a deep commitment to presence, service, and caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Mary has since pursued work in advocacy, policy, and global health, including trauma and prehospital care research in Egypt. Passionate about mentorship and community-building, she co-founded the Coptic Scholars Network to support students navigating higher education and medical training.
